Delegation of the UDG attended Open Door event at the Embassy of the Republic of China, Montenegro
On May 17, 2024, the delegation of the University of Donja Gorica attended the Open Door event at the Embassy of the Republic of China, dedicated to the theme "Sovereignty, security and development of China". The event was attended by over 50 people, including representatives of Montenegrin political parties, media and universities and schools. Ambassador of the Republic of China H.E. Fan Kun presented the historical breadth and legal facts of the Taiwan issue. He said that China and Montenegro have a traditional friendship, and that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Montenegro has always consistently adhered to the principle of one China and that there has never been a change of attitude on this issue. China is willing to share its experience in Chinese-style modernization with Montenegro and continuously deepens Chinese-Montenegro friendship and cooperation. The present representatives of the Montenegrin side pointed out that this event deepened their understanding of the principle of one China and their unequivocal support for this important issue, and that they will continue in the future to make positive efforts to further strengthen the friendship between Montenegro and China.
