Vitalising ICT Relevance in Agricultural Learning - VIRAL
Erasmus+ VIRAL - At the University of Donja Gorica, the first round of education on the purpose and use of field equipment for smart agriculture has been implemented. Students and lecturers had an opportunity to receive a hands on training and experience with Internet of Things technology. We introduced weather stations, soil moisture, and environment monitoring equipment that can be used in vineyards, orchards, as well as the equipment for poultry farms. This effort was done in the context of the project “Vitalising ICT Relevance in Agricultural Learning - VIRAL”, and Eramsus+ project that is fully in line with Montenegrin S3. The training will continue this month through engagement of farmers and short courses are set up for students to enroll in the Fall semester.
