The University of Donja Gorica is a co-organizer of the XVI Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing and the V International Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering organized by the Society for Medical and Biological Engineering of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DMBIUBIH), Verlab Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices and Artificial Intelligence with the University of Sarajevo and the University of Banja Luka.

The goal of the conference is to present all traditional areas of biomedical engineering, but also to highlight upcoming innovations in the field of artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning and healthcare. In front of the University of Donja Gorica prof. Dr. Milica Vukotic will lead the session "Health informatics, e-health and telemedicine", while prof. Dr. Aleksandra Martinovic will lead the session entitled "Bio-innovations in the food system towards the next generation of multidisciplinary initiatives"._______________________________________________________

The scientific and social program at MEDICON'23 & CMBEBIH'23 provides an excellent platform for researchers, scientists, engineers, physicists and clinical experts to discuss the latest discoveries, innovative solutions and new challenges facing the field to improve the quality of healthcare protection of life and health in general. Some of the key speakers at this conference will be Joanna Collingwood - Great Britain, Prof.dr. Gastonne Ciuti - Italy, Prof. Ph.D. Ratko Magjarevic - Croatia, Prof. dr. Dubravka Maljevic - Germany, but also many others. All accepted papers will be published in IFMBE Springer Proceedings by Springer Nature.
