Knowledge Factory 2018, the largest educational IT event hosted more than 3000 students. For two days, they had an opportunity to learn about the most current trends in IT. Smart Cities, as a concept, was in focus of the event, with very attractive, interactive and fun exhibition. At the opening ceremony rector of University of Donja Gorica, Prof. Dr Veselin Vukotic said that Knowledge Factory, organized for the eight time in cooperation with ComTrade company, became a part of the brand UDG, and helps popularizing UDG among youngsters. The growing number of new students at UDG is a result of completely different model of studies compared to classic university - a model adapted to new generations and demands of global society. UDG invests in teaching improvement, laboratories, research centers. Student of UDG, as rector said, should not search for employment after graduating, but instead create a job by starting a company.  This year's Factory was officially opened by Minister of Science of Montenegro, Dr Sanja Damjanovic. The event is organised as a part of "Open days of science", supported by Ministry of Science of Montenegro and leading IT companies.
